Empower, in collaboration with WHO SEARO, is pleased to announce the launch of the Emergency Outbreak Response Platform for 11 South & Southeast Asian countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, DPR Korea, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Timor-Leste). The platform allows you to connect with other supply chain professionals working in their pandemic response teams, as well as national and international supply chain experts. You can also enroll in relevant courses and access various types of resources (videos, PDFs, podcasts etc.). Additionally, you can enroll for upcoming supply chain webinars and events that feature global and national supply chain experts.
We have also uploaded a new course on Procurement and Supply Chain Pandemic Response and Preparedness. The course is designed to capacitate Procurement & Supply Management (PSM) personnel to fight the current and future pandemics by building awareness, knowledge and skills related to pandemic response and preparedness. The course covers basic principles of public health supply chains, the PSM cycle of pandemic commodities, disposal of pandemic medical waste, Covid-19 vaccine supply chain management, managing PSM data and information in pandemics, PSM human resource management, and quality assurance of pandemic commodities.
