SnapShots: Highlighting IIS Innovation, Positive Impacts, and Successful COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout

Hello,

As 2020 comes to a close, we want to share our final edition of SnapShots for the year. We know you’re busy with COVID-19 vaccine planning and distribution and holiday hustle and bustle. If you have a chance to take a break from your work and want to hear about the great things being done in the IIS world by your peers across the country, we hope this edition will allow you that respite.

This edition of SnapShots includes an article about a flu dashboard pilot project in Minnesota and how the state is using vaccination data dashboards to prepare for COVID-19 vaccine response. There’s also an article about the AIRA Measurement and Improvement (M&I) initiative and how IIS data and M&I can impact the patient-provider experience. Lastly, there’s an article about the Oregon Immunization Program’s Provider Organization Service Tracking website. These three articles highlight how IIS are innovating, making an impact, and preparing for successful COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

SnapShots is AIRA’s quarterly newsletter that highlights the progress, best practices, and accomplishments of IIS. We accept articles on a rolling basis and would love to hear from you! Please email SnapShots Editor Katie Reed and AIRA Communication Specialist Lonnie Peterson with any articles or ideas for future articles.

Thank you,
