Cost-effectiveness of rotavirus immunization in Indonesia: Taking breastfeeding patterns into account
Highlights: • We analyzed rotavirus vaccination cost-effectiveness, taking breastfeeding patterns explicitly into account. •Rotavirus immunization would be highly cost-effective under various breastfeeding patterns. •From the social perspective, the cost-effectiveness analysis yielded ICERs varying from US$ 146 to US$ 197 for the considered breastfeeding patterns. • Vaccination would not be affordable when the budget does not exceed US$ 10 million and US$ 65 million at the GAVI-subsidized price and the market price, respectively, from the healthcare perspective.
