Hi Dan, I am so very late for the call for abstracts but here is an email I send to the moderator at TechNet I am writing to ask about the call for application which closed May 5, 2023 for the TechNet Conference. I am late to the call, however, I really wanted to share my course built in collaboration with CPHA/CANVax on "Building vaccine confidence and demand in a digital age" https://learning.cpha.ca/course/index.php?categoryid=17

The competency framework in this course aligns with the WHO infodemic management competency framework - from the lead team. https://www.who.int/publications/i/item/9789240035287

WHO competency framework: Building a response workforce to manage infodemics An ad hoc WHO technical consultation managing the COVID-19 infodemic: call for action www.who.int

The comprehensive training on vaccine programming was first delivered in the Summer of 2022 - with pooled funding from GAVI, WHO, UNICEF and WHO. Is there any way for me to attend and deliver a workshop or presentation on this cutting-edge training, addressing vaccine programming from a whole-of-society lens in infodemiology?

Infodemiology is a new field of study, and it has yet to be accepted as part of the list of social determinants, particularly in vaccine programming. Brief article here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/visions-fluid-healthcare-workforce-his-vs-renata-e-mares-miph-rn%3FtrackingId=tfd%252BHxrYSiagDJgNnzrlZw%253D%253D/?trackingId=tfd%2BHxrYSiagDJgNnzrlZw%3D%3D

I am also a research assistant with the Jitsuvax study - more info here https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7064980858226540545/?originTrackingId=MHNnqInQTnG%2BVwW0Tn4xqw%3D%3D

I understand that I have missed the deadline to submit - but I am trying my luck in case I could be accepted into the conference come October 2023. Many thanks Renata : )

Dear all, we are delighted to announce that the Conference Guide for the 17th TechNet Conference has just been released. Please find it here:

https://www.technet-21.org/en/resources/report/17th-technet-conference-2023-conference-guide

The guide contains all the information that participants need to know, including the day-by-day agenda and list of participants.

For those not attending in person, please note that all plenary sessions and breakout sessions taking place in the main auditorium will be livestreamed. More information, including the YouTube and Zoom links, will be provided very shortly.

For those attending in person, a TechNet Conference group will shortly be created. The TechNet Conference finished on Thursday 19 October. The TechNet Conference Team and the planning team would like to thank all participants who traveled from far and wide (many traveled for more than 30 hours to be with us!) to join this unique meeting where our community of professionals can get to know each other, connect, exchange ideas, learn, etc.

We hope that you found the content rich and useful, and that you had fun meeting with old friends and colleagues. I also really enjoyed, and I know I'm not the only one, meeting those with whom we normally communicate by email or video conference.

We'll send participants the links to the recordings, presentations, and posters next week, and the materials will be promoted on the various TechNet channels.

In the meantime, we wish you all a nice journey back home, and hope to continue discussions by email, video conference, and on the TechNet website!
