In October 2023, Bangladesh launched the human papillomavirus vaccine after waiting for a long time. The country has adopted a multi-phasic campaign modality targeting the 10-14 years old school and out of school girls. The campaign will be conducted both in the ducational institutions and existing EPI centers. Extensive training of vaccinators, health managers were conducted prior to the launch alongside stakeholder mapping, advocacies, designing digital innovation such as online registration system in collaboration with core partners like WHO, UNICEF as well PATH. Online microplanning was done. Vaccines and other logistics were distributed accordingly. Currently, the campaign ig ongoing in the Dhaka division and other divisions will be covered simultaneously.
