Less Than One Month to Submit Your #AIRA2024 Abstract

There’s now less than one month left to submit your abstracts for consideration for the AIRA 2024 National Meeting! 

The call for abstracts closes on Sunday, December 3, so be sure to add this deadline to your calendar. Visit our AIRA 2024 National Meeting website for additional information and to view the call for abstracts overview flyer.

 

And, while you’re at it, you can register to attend, book your hotel (with all accommodations on-site), and learn more about this year’s meeting location. As an AIRA 2024 National Meeting attendee, you’ll have access to specially priced Disney theme park tickets!

Don’t Forget: AIRA’s November Discovery Session Is Fast Approaching

Register today to attend our next Discovery Session on Monday, November 27, from 4 to 5 p.m. ET. During this session, Lauren Shaw and Terence Ng, from the CDC Informatics and Data Analytics Branch (IDAB), will give an overview of the Immunization Information Systems Annual Report (IISAR).

Immunize.org Website Redesign

The Immunize.org flagship website has been redesigned with new features to better serve users.

 

On Thursday, November 9, 2023, Immunize.org launched a redesigned Immunize.org flagship website. The new site features enhanced navigation while continuing to provide the timely, accurate resources relied upon for decades by public health professionals and the nurses, doctors, pharmacists, and medical assistants who administer vaccinations.

 

The redesigned Immunize.org website continues to provide:

  • Curated links to the latest clinical resources
  • Vaccination guidance from CDC, FDA, and major professional organizations
  • Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) translations in numerous languages
  • More than 1,000 Ask the Experts answers to clinical questions about vaccines
  • Access to bookmarks—all of their links remain the same

 

New features of the redesigned Immunize.org website include:

  • A homepage navigation guide to introduce visitors to new search options
  • New mobile responsive design: comfortable viewing and navigation from smartphones
  • Enhanced search tools: use built-in filters or enter keywords and phrases to narrow searches
  • Featured resources showcased at a glance on the home page
  • A streamlined subscription process for the weekly email newsletter, IZ Express

 

The updated site is designed to continue to support longtime users while simplifying access to resources for new visitors and the next generation of vaccinators.
