2021 Core Set Review Public Comments and Job Opportunities

As a reminder, the Medicaid and CHIP Child and Adult Core Set 2021 Annual Review Workgroup is seeking public comment on their draft report: Recommendations for Improving the Core Sets of Health Care Quality Measures for Medicaid and CHIP: Summary of a Multi-Stakeholder Review of the 2021 Child and Adult Core Sets.

The report includes a summary of the Workgroup’s recommendations and is available here.

AIRA has drafted the attached comments letter and seeks your feedback to respond as a community on these measures. Please review the timeline below, based on the upcoming deadline for submission of comments by August 10.

  • By July 31, 2020: Please submit any edits/additions you have on the attached draft comments to Liz Abbott.
  • August 6, 2020: Final edits/additions will be integrated, and final comments will be shared with the community 
  • August 10, 8 pm ET: Final comments will be submitted to the workgroup by AIRA. If submitting any of your own comments, we encourage you to echo messages we include in our final comments letter.

Job Opportunities

The Rutgers School of Public Health, Department of Epidemiology, partnered with the New Jersey Department of Health, is seeking a Vaccine Manager for the New Jersey Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program ensuring vaccines secured through a Cooperative Agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are managed and distributed appropriately among the approximately 900 enrolled medical providers throughout the state.
