17th TechNet Conference - Immunization Programs That Leave No One Behind
Dates: 16-19 October 2023
Venue: Panama City, Panama
Participants: Immunization professionals from 70 organizations and from more than 70 countries, ranging from national governments, academia and the private sector to consultants, donors, non-government organisations, and inter-governmental organisations.
Background:
TechNet is a global network of immunization professionals committed to strengthening immunization services by building relationships, sharing knowledge, coordinating activities, and aligning priorities and goals. Our goal is to improve immunization services by bringing together immunization professionals at every level, in every country, and from every sector.
Established by WHO and UNICEF in 1989, TechNet has two complementary parts: The TechNet Conference, held every two years since 1990, and the TechNet website released in 1998. This year, the 17th TechNet Conference took place in October, in Panama City, Panama. The title of the conference was “Immunization Programs That Leave No One Behind”.
Outcomes:
The focus was on topics related to vaccine supply chain, immunization service delivery, and the Immunization Agenda 2030. The content was organised into the seven Immunization Agenda 2030 Strategic Priorities:

- Commitment & Demand
- Coverage & Equity
- Life Course & Integration
- Outbreaks & Emergencies
- Supply & Sustainability
- Research & Innovation
