Hello,
The American Immunization Registry Association is soliciting subject matter experts (SMEs) for a short-term workgroup to identify needs in the immunization and IIS communities related to vaccine management, the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program, and IIS-immunization program integration.
The workgroup will help identify topics that would benefit from additional support and ideas for the best methods of providing that support (e.g. technical assistance, community of practice, implementation guidance). The end product will help guide the work that AIRA performs over the next several years.
The workgroup will meet 3-4 times via webinar between February and July 2020 to identify needs related to:
- Vaccine management (e.g., vaccine ordering, pre-booking flu, inventory, returns and wastage)
- VFC program (e.g., dose-level eligibility, accountability reports)
- IIS-immunization program integration (e.g., supporting VPD surveillance and responding to outbreaks, supporting school and childcare reporting, emergency preparedness)
We are looking for SMEs with knowledge of any of the areas listed above and a willingness to liaison with other members of their IIS and immunization program to learn about needs in other areas that are within the scope of this project. If you would be interested in being considered as a volunteer SME for this workgroup, please email Beth Parilla at Cette adresse e-mail est protégée contre les robots spammeurs.
